The Signal in the Noise
Independent technology journalism for the people building and navigating the future.
Technology journalism that respects your intelligence
Tech Buzz was founded in 2026 by Akash and Karishma, two Melbourne-based technologists with a single conviction: the world needs technology journalism that treats its readers as intelligent adults. Not clickbait. Not press-release rewrites. Not benchmark numbers stripped of context.
We cover artificial intelligence, gadgets, science, cryptocurrency, gaming, startups, cybersecurity, robotics, space, and reviews — ten editorial verticals spanning the forces reshaping how humanity lives, works, and communicates.
Based in Melbourne, Australia, we are an independent publication with no outside investors and no editorial agenda beyond accuracy and depth. Our mission is simple: find the signal in the noise, and deliver it honestly.
What we stand for
Accuracy first
Every claim is verified before publication. We correct mistakes publicly and promptly. Our credibility is the only currency that matters.
No hype
We don't amplify press releases. We ask hard questions, stress-test claims, and tell you what the benchmarks actually mean.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made by our journalists, not our advertisers. Sponsored content is always clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial.
Depth over volume
We'd rather publish one story that changes how you think than ten that fill your feed. Quality is the only metric we optimize for.
Global perspective
Technology is reshaping every corner of the world. Our coverage reflects that — from Silicon Valley to Shenzhen, Austin to Amsterdam.
Reader-first
We don't write for search engines or social algorithms. We write for the curious, technically literate reader who wants real insight.

Our story in 2026
From a bold idea in Melbourne to 110+ published articles — here's how Tech Buzz grew in its first year.
Tech Buzz launches
Founded in Melbourne, Australia by Akash and Karishma. We launched with a clear mission: independent technology journalism that cuts through the noise. From day one, we covered ten verticals — AI, Gadgets, Crypto, Science, Startups, Security, Reviews, Robotics, Gaming, and Space.
Building our research foundation
We spent the early months researching the technology landscape across all ten verticals — interviewing sources, studying market trends, and developing our editorial voice. Our goal was to understand not just what was happening in tech, but why it mattered to real people.
Expanding coverage depth
We broadened our coverage to include dedicated analysis of the gaming and crypto markets — two of the fastest-moving spaces in technology. Our approach: go deeper than the headlines, explain the mechanics, and give readers the context they need to form their own views.
Growing our readership
As our article library grew, so did our audience. Readers responded to our commitment to accuracy and depth. We focused on producing content that was genuinely useful — reviews you could trust, analysis that held up over time, and news coverage that gave you the full picture.
Community and reader engagement
We opened up reader comments and ratings on all articles, creating a two-way conversation with our audience. The feedback sharpened our editorial focus and helped us understand which topics our readers cared about most. We also launched The Signal, our editorial newsletter.
Growing our library — 110+ articles and counting
Six months in, Tech Buzz has published over 110 articles across all ten verticals. We published our most ambitious piece yet — an in-depth analysis of how AI is transforming medicine, education, finance, manufacturing, and more. We are still early, and the journey is just beginning.

Our editorial policy
We hold ourselves to the same standards we apply to the technology we cover.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made exclusively by our journalists and editors. Advertisers have no influence over our coverage. Sponsored content is always clearly labelled as "Sponsored" and kept entirely separate from editorial content.
Accuracy & Corrections
We verify every factual claim before publication. When we make errors — and we do — we correct them promptly and transparently, noting the correction at the top of the article with the date and nature of the change. Email [email protected] to report an error.
Transparency & Disclosure
We disclose when we receive review units, attend press events, or have any relationship with the companies we cover. Our authors' names, roles, and beats are published on every article. We do not publish anonymous content.
Source Standards
Every factual claim is supported by a primary source — a peer-reviewed paper, official announcement, or direct reporting. We link to original sources, not secondary coverage. We apply higher evidentiary standards to extraordinary claims.
